"Conspiracy of Silence" was originally scheduled to air in 3rd May 1994, on the Discovery Channel. It was already listed nationwide in the April 30th- May 6th edition of the TV guide and newspaper supplements. The Discovery Channel and Yorkshire Productions was reimbursed 1.4 to 1.2 million dollars in production costs.

"Conspiracy of Silence" was pulled from the schedule at the last minute due to formidable pressure applied by top politicians. Some very powerful people did not want people to watch this documentary. It is among the most blatant of all of the mostly ignored stories in this country.

For this reason, most Americans have never heard of the biggest pedophile scandal in the history of the U.S.A. The story received some newspaper coverage, but there was a TV News Media blackout on the subject.

This documentary exposed a network of religious leaders and Washington politicians who flew children to Washington D.C. for sex orgies. At the last minute before airing, an unknown congressmen threatened the TV Cable industry with restrictive legislation if this documentary was aired. Almost immediately after this, the rights to the documentary were purchased by unknown persons who had ordered all copies destroyed.

A copy of this videotape was delivered anonymously to former Nebraska state senator and attorney John De Camp who made it available to retired F.B.I. Chief, Ted L. Gunderson.

Boys Town was once America’s favourite charity, it was opened on 12th December, 1917, as an orphanage for boys. It was founded by Edward J. Flanagan, a Roman Catholic priest working in Omaha, Nebraska. Now it is responsible for taking care of homeless, abandoned, neglected, orphaned boys and girls. Boys Town has cash reserves of $5 million.

Boy ‘prostitutes’ victims of the Boys Town home, 15 years old (and younger) were taking on midnight tours of the Whitehouse. There were 19 more Washington Times articles about this conspiracy.

A Republican operative named and Lawrence E. King Jr was involved with procuring boys and girls from Boys Town in Nebraska and elsewhere and entrapping them in a child sex-slave and espionage ring.

King, with an annual salary of under 20K, was throwing sex parties for the powerful in a $5,000-a-month condo in Washington, DC; apparently taping the proceedings for blackmail purposes. King was once one of the country’s leading Republicans now has been convicted of a multi-million dollar fraud and was sentenced to 15 years jail.

Larry King was convicted of stealing $40 million. King came to the Franklin Credit Union to build it up as it was failing. King courted Omaha’s leading banks and business in a bid to build up the credit union, which he did. From 1979 King started a relationship with Boys Town, and Boys Town attendees were sent to work at his companies. King didn’t just employee Boys Town attendees he prostituted them at sex and drug orgies.

Paul Bonacci was a victim of King’s abuse, he was also sent by King to lour Boys Town children off campus. Bonacci would cultivate friendships for months before bringing them to the parties. In 1986 King’s activities at Boys Town was reported to by staff to its chief executive Father Val Peter. Val Peter carried out his own investigation, but none of the boys would talk to him. The investigation paperwork went missing.

Foster Care Review Board Executive Director Carol Stitt said Nebraska has a very clear law stating that child abuse should be reported to the child protective services or law enforcement not to the school authorities. So Larry King remained free to fill his paedophilic parties with young victims.

In 1988, King’s name came up in an investigation by the Nebraska State Foster Care review board. The review board handed over a file ‘about a foot high’ to the authorities, however nothing happened. Omaha police claim that there wasn’t sufficient evidence against King.

The perpetrators named by the children were some of the richest and most powerful people in the state. Men prominent in industry, politics, media and the police. There was department store millionaire Alan Baer, and Peter Citron celebrity columnist of Omaha on newspaper the World Herald.

The clients were prominent politicians, media and industrial magnates around the country -including King, the Omaha Chief of Police, the owner of Nebraska's largest newspaper, the Omaha Herald, and, according to several children, then-Vice-President George H W Bush. Videos of the "parties" were used for blackmail. Kids were tortured, threatened, and in at least once case, murdered, to keep them in line.

King spent Franklin Credit Unions money on courting political influence. He cultivated contacts in the inner circle of Ronald Reagans Whitehouse. Namely George H W Bush. At is luxury homes, three in Omaha and one in Washington DC he held parties for the rich and famous. His lavish spending bought him a protected life.

Kings reckless spending, bought him to the attention of the IRS. On 11th April 1988, the Franklin Credit Union was raided and closed by the FBI. The Federal investigation arrested King over $40 million fraud. Documents showed that many of the victims of his sex ring were interviewed but no action was taken.

In November 1988, Nebraska’s State Government set up a parallel investigation into Larry King. A legislative committee was formed. Its chairman was the Republican head of the Nebraska’s Banking committee: Corn Farmer and state Senator Lawrence Schmit. Immediately anonymous threats started coming in. The caller refused to give his name to Schmit but said “You do not want to have an enquiry into the Federal Credit Union”. When Schmit asked why not he was told “it would reach to the highest levels of the Republican Party”

Undeterred the investigation continued and the money trail led straight to the allegations of child abuse. One of the first people to give evidence was Carol Stitt. The night before she was due to give evidence Stitt received a phone call at home saying “if you speak you will live to regret it”.

To protect the enquiry Stitt’s committee hired special legal counsel and full time professional investigators Gary Caradori and Karen Ormiston. The investigator found more victims of King’s, many on the streets of Omaha. What they found was a large ring of pedophiles many names were the same names put forward three years earlier.

Paul Bonacci gave evidence on video about the parties held by King, Alan Baer and Peter Citron. There were a large number of names on list some people which Schmit knew personally. Troy Boner gave evidence of police offices molesting boys by sticking beads up a boy’s rectum. Boner described Baer as a “sick fuck”. They used to do thing like shove squashes up kid’s rectums, or burn them with cigarettes. Boner said King was even more sadistic than Baer. He said they film most of their acts.

King also supplied girls for the parties. King used to threaten the kids that he could find someone to kill them or kill their families. Larry King was the centre of all operations. He would pay for the airplane for transporting the children to places like Bohemian Grove or Washington DC.

Boys Town would not cooperate with the investigation. I wouldn’t provide evidence or even allow filming on the site. Boys Town eventually changed their name to Youtown.

By the Spring of 1990, the Nebraska State Committee were convinced there was an organised child abuse ring. Lawrence Schmit turned over all the evidence to the FBI. Somehow the witnesses video tapes were turned over to a hostile media who started to discredit the witnesses. The media didn’t look for evidence the World Herald was practically brutal.

The FBI was just as brutal and dismissive. They attacked the victims trying to get them to change their stories. The establishment of Omaha was closing ranks. The FBI brought Troy Boner in for questioning. They told him he would be charged with perjury if he didn’t change his story.  Eventually Boner agreed to withdraw his testimony. The FBI tried to use Boner to convince fellow witness Alisha Owen to withdraw her evidence about Larry King’s network of powerful pedophiles.

The FBI refused to talk to the documentary makers about the case, claiming that they worked the case with the local police.

Gary Caradori had been investigating the case very hard. I said he’d come up with one piece of evidence, an address book, which would blow the case wide open however; Gary Caradori and his eight-year-old son were was killed when his small plane broke up in flight, strewing wreckage over a mile.

The Federal investigation was never able to determine what tore the plane apart. Within 24 hours of the crash all Caradori’s records were impounded by the FBI. His personal effects were returned to his widow, but not the briefcase in which he kept the results of his investigation went missing.

On 23rd July 1990, the Grand Jury produced a bizarre and contradictory report. It indicted Larry King for fraud and Embezzlement and ruled that he paid young men for sex.  But dismissed allegations about his sex ring. It indicted Alan Baer on the offence of pandering for sex, but rejected evidence that linked him to King or Citron, whom it noted had been convicted of other child molestation charges.

It accepted that, Paul, Troy and Alisha had been abused but not by the people they identified. For refusing to withdraw her evidence, Alisha Owen was charged with prudery.

Lawrence Schmit committee issued a statement denouncing the Grand Jury. Schmit acknowledged that the system failed both the victims and him.

Alisha Owen was sentenced to between nine and twenty five years in prison for perjury. The severity of the sentence was meant as a deterrent to any other children who thought they might come forward.

Alan Baer was convicted of a lesser charge of aiding and abetting prostitution when he pled no contest. Peter Citron served two years of a three to eight year sentence. Thanks to Troy Boner’s lies Larry King never faced sex charges. He was given a ten year sentence for fraud, five years less than Alisha Owen.

Former state senator John DeCamp is the only person still working on the case. He is the lawyer trying to over through Alisha Owens conviction and to expose the cover-up. John has received anonymous threats. John is working with Troy Boner who is now wanting to tell the truth, despite the threats to him and his family.

John Decamp was close friends with former head of the CIA, William Colby. On 6th May 1996, Colby's body was found in a marshy riverbank after he went canoeing. Colby was the head of the CIA during the House of Representatives Select Committee on Assassinations (HSCA) which was established in 1976, before George H W Bush took over. Colby’s death was ruled an accident. DeCamp believes Colby was murdered.

DeCamp got the film that were withheld from the jury in the Alisha Owen case. They were of Troy Boner discussing trips across the country organised by Larry King for prostitution and drug dealing. On the day of the hearing Troy Boner was a no show. It turned out he had gone into hiding because he had been sent a subpoena, threating him with perjury charges if he’s gone ahead with his testimony.

Many of the abusers in the case have since risen in their roles in politics and the Republican Party. DeCamp went to Washington DC with Paul Bonacci where Bonacci explained how the parties worked at King’s place in Washington. He said there was usually a party first, then there would be an after party where the men who wanted to have sex with children would stick around for. At these parties plenty of drugs were made available to everyone.

King’s partner was Craig Spence who was an important Republican lobbyist. Spence threw parties for key officials of the Reagan and Bush administrations, media stars and top military officers. Spence would get the children into the Whitehouse for private late night tours. After the tours of the Whitehouse the children were then used for sex according to Paul Bonacci. Larry King had a group of boys called ‘The Golden Boys’ who were all under the age of ten.

Spence’s callboy ring was investigated in 1989 by reporters Paul Rodriquez of the Washington Times. According to Rodriquez the authorities claimed it was the largest male prostitute ring in Washington DC at the time. A million dollars a year minimum. Yet they only prosecuted the operator Henry Vinson and three of his lieutenants. This operation claimed to have clients, that ran from the Whitehouse, to Capitol Hill to the State Department, yet none of  ‘John’s’ were ever prosecuted.

Rodriquez said he was able get a ‘mother lode’ of receipts, cancelled cheques, and I list of the clients. The prosecutor knew all this, there was approximately 20 thousand documents. The entire records were sealed by court order.  Washington Times tried on a number of times to have the documents unsealed however they were told it would be ‘a cold day in hell’ before those document were released.

On 10th November 1989, Spence was found dead in Room 429 of the Boston Ritz Carlton, the city's most expensive hotel. He was dressed in a tuxedo. Spence feared that, because he knew something very dark, implicating the very most powerful man in America, George H. W. Bush, that he would be killed by the CIA and his murder would be made to look like a suicide.

Months before his death, he was asked who had given him the "key" to the White House. Michael Hedges and Jerry Seper of The Washington Times reported that "Mr. Spence hinted the tours were arranged by 'top level' persons", including Donald Gregg, national security adviser to Vice President George H. W. Bush at the time the tours were given.

During Spring of 2003, Troy Boner arrives at a New Mexico hospital; he was sedated upon admittance, the next day he was found dead in his hospital room.

Alisha Owen was paroled on 22nd September 2000; she served 4 and a half years. The woman linked to the Franklin Credit Union sexual abuse investigation said she “"I just want to be a normal person".

Larry King was released from prison after ten years in 2001. He never faced any charges relating to his pedophilia and was welcome back into the Washington DC fold. There was never a real investigation into the allegations of the late 80’s. The big power brokers of Washington got away with their crimes and even further tortured the victims further. This was just one more incident proving the pedophile George H W Bush was unstoppable.
